Qualifications of Contractor:
Dr. Park has over 30 years of experience in international business. Currently in addition to being EFI’s Director in Korea, he is a Director at the Korea Development Institute School of International Policy and Management. This is a government "think tank" on global business. In addition, Dr. Park is an advisor to the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). Prior to joining KDI, Dr. Park was a consultant in Korea to Bell Atlantic, NCR, Yukon Pacific Corporation and Citibank. Dr. Park represented the State of Texas in the early 1990’s. He served as the Economic Counselor in the Korean Embassy in Germany. During his service in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he was a specialist in international trade and finance. Dr. Park was also a Managing Director for International Operations at Ssangyong, a major Korean chaebol.

Dr. Park has a Ph. D. in economics from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, he holds a MPC from the Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University and a Masters in City Planning from MIT. In addition to Dr. Park, he has hired a Deputy Director, Nam Hoon Kang, who received his Masters in Industrial Relations from the London School of Economics.
